Guinness World Records have officially recognized Turkish Airlines for flying to the most countries globally. The airline was awarded the title of “Most Countries Flown to by an Airline,” further establishing its extensive global network.
The Guinness World Records™ certificate was presented during a ceremony at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Chile. This event coincided with Turkish Airlines’ inaugural flight to Chile and was attended by the airline’s executives alongside officials from Guinness World Records.
Over the past 12 months, Turkish Airlines has actively operated routes to 120 countries, meeting Guinness World Records criteria for the title. Including temporarily suspended routes and the new Chile destination, the airline’s total network now covers 131 countries, securing the Turkish Airlines Guinness Record.

Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi expressed pride in this milestone, saying, “We are delighted to be in Santiago, Chile, our newest route launched today, and to receive the Guinness World Records title for the Most Countries Flown to by an Airline.
