KLM has announced exciting new routes, adding Ljubljana, Exeter, and Biarritz to its growing European network in 2025. The airline plans to offer daily flights to Ljubljana and Exeter year-round, while flights to Biarritz will operate daily during the summer months and twice weekly in winter.
Direct Flights Between Amsterdam and Ljubljana Begin March 30, 2025
Starting March 30, 2025, KLM will introduce daily flights between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. These flights will be operated by an Embraer 190, offering both business and leisure travelers a convenient link to Slovenia’s capital city. The route’s schedule features departures from Amsterdam at 10:15 AM, arriving in Ljubljana at 12:05 PM. Return flights will leave Ljubljana at 12:35 PM and land in Amsterdam at 2:25 PM.
Ljubljana, the largest city in Slovenia, is known for its diverse cultural attractions, stunning natural landscapes, and appeal to both business and tourism markets. The new connection will enhance accessibility to this dynamic destination.
Exeter Flights Restore Connection to Southwest England
On the same day, March 30, 2025, KLM will launch daily flights to Exeter Airport in Southwest England. The route will be serviced by an Embraer 175, offering a seamless travel option to this region. Flights from Amsterdam are scheduled to depart at 4:15 PM, arriving in Exeter at 4:50 PM local time. Return flights will leave Exeter at 5:20 PM local time, landing back in Amsterdam at 7:50 PM.
Exeter serves as a gateway to the stunning Devon and Cornwall areas, home to the UNESCO-designated Jurassic Coast. The city’s picturesque cliffs and unique geological features make it a favored destination. This addition also re-establishes a direct connection that had been unavailable since 2019, following FlyBe’s bankruptcy.
Seasonal Service to Biarritz Starts April 19, 2025
KLM’s seasonal flights to Biarritz will commence on April 19, 2025. Operated by an Embraer 190, this route will offer daily flights during the summer season and twice-weekly services in the winter. The schedule during peak season, running from April 19 to October 25, 2025, includes departures from Amsterdam at 2:20 PM, arriving in Biarritz at 4:20 PM. Return flights will leave Biarritz at 4:50 PM and land in Amsterdam at 6:50 PM.
From June 30 to August 22, 2025, flights will operate Monday through Friday, following the same schedule.
Biarritz, located on the Bay of Biscay in southwestern France, is a premier destination known for its beaches and surfing culture. Travelers can also explore the nearby French Basque region, which offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences.
These new routes align with KLM’s broader efforts to refine its European network, responding to growing travel demands and strengthening connectivity. By offering direct access to Ljubljana, Exeter, and Biarritz, KLM continues to provide its passengers with convenient travel options to some of Europe’s most popular destinations.
