Emirates is expanding its footprint in Asia with the addition of three new destinations. Starting July 1st, 2025, the airline will launch daily nonstop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen. Additionally, Emirates will introduce four weekly services to Da Nang on June 2nd and three weekly flights to Siem Reap on June 3rd, both connecting through Bangkok. These new routes mark Emirates’ commitment to offering travelers convenient access to key destinations in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Â
Emirates’ entry into Shenzhen marks a milestone as the first Middle Eastern carrier to operate a daily flight to this technology and innovation hub. “We remain committed to offering business and leisure travelers unparalleled access to Southeast Asia and the broader East Asia region by delivering an extensive flight schedule,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. “Our expansion into Shenzhen opens new doors for business and economic exchange between this technological powerhouse and global markets.” He also expressed gratitude for the support of Chinese authorities and airport partners, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to fostering cultural bonds and unlocking future economic potential.
With the addition of Shenzhen, Emirates now operates flights to four destinations in mainland China, building on its two-decade partnership that began with flights to Shanghai in 2002. The new Shenzhen route will be served by Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, offering passengers the opportunity to experience the latest Business Class seats and Premium Economy product. This aircraft features eight private suites in First Class, 40 lie-flat seats in Business Class, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 260 spacious seats in Economy Class. Â

Exploring Vietnam and Cambodia
Emirates is also expanding its reach in Southeast Asia with new services to Da Nang and Siem Reap. Da Nang becomes Emirates’ third destination in Vietnam, joining Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. “Vietnam holds a strategic place in our Southeast Asia network,” said Kazim. “Our decision to expand operations to Da Nang as our third point in Vietnam comes at an opportune moment, following the landmark Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam.” He expressed confidence that the new service would enhance trade and commercial collaboration between the two nations.
The four weekly flights to Da Nang will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, utilizing Emirates’ Boeing 777 aircraft. The service to Siem Reap, home to the famed Angkor Wat, will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Both Da Nang and Siem Reap flights will connect through Bangkok, offering travelers convenient access to a wider range of destinations.

Enhanced Connectivity and Seamless Travel
Emirates’ new flights are timed to optimize connections to and from key cities across its network. Travelers from Shenzhen can easily connect to destinations in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. The Da Nang and Siem Reap services offer convenient connections for travelers from Europe and Russia, particularly those seeking to explore Southeast Asia’s cultural and historical treasures.
Emirates SkyCargo also plays a vital role in the expansion, facilitating the transport of goods between these new destinations and the global market. Shenzhen, a major manufacturing hub, will benefit from Emirates’ cargo capacity, supporting the export of high-tech devices and e-commerce items.
Emirates’ expansion in Asia strengthens its position as a leading airline connecting East Asia with the rest of the world. The new flights to Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap offer travelers more choices, convenient connections, and an enhanced travel experience, further facilitating business, tourism, and cultural exchange.
