Starting January 3, 2025, Emirates will operate its retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK125 and EK126 between Dubai and Vienna. This initiative offers passengers the airline’s latest products, including Premium Economy and refreshed interiors in all cabin classes. The Emirates retrofitted 777 is set to redefine comfort and luxury.

The retrofitted 777 provides a blend of comfort and luxury. Business Class seats transform into spacious flatbeds and feature a 23-inch HD screen for in-flight entertainment. Premium Economy travelers benefit from spacious seating with 6-way adjustable headrests, ideal for both leisure and business travel on the Emirates retrofitted 777.

This move aligns with Emirates’ extensive fleet retrofit project. The airline has introduced 10 upgraded Boeing 777s into service, operating on routes to Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Haneda, Riyadh, Kuwait, Dammam, and Chicago, including the Emirates retrofitted 777.

20 Years of Service to Austria

Emirates has served Austria since 2004, offering two daily flights between Dubai and Vienna with a combination of Boeing 777s and A380s. Over the past two decades, the airline has carried more than five million passengers on over 20,500 flights along this route.

The airline has supported Austrian economic activities by transporting nearly 250,000 tonnes of freight to and from Vienna over the past decade. Emirates also conducts ongoing recruitment campaigns in Austria, tapping into local talent to enhance its global operations.

The introduction of the retrofitted Boeing 777 strengthens Emirates’ focus on passenger satisfaction. The Business Class cabin draws design inspiration from the Emirates A380 experience, featuring modern elements like cream leather seats, champagne-colored trims, and lighter wood accents. These features create a fresh, contemporary environment in the Emirates retrofitted 777.

With Emirates’ comprehensive in-flight entertainment system, passengers can enjoy one of the largest HD screens in the skies, offering a wide selection of movies, TV shows, and more.
