Emirates Adds Third Daily Non-Stop Flight to Melbourne

Emirates has announced the addition of a third non-stop flight between Dubai and Melbourne, beginning on March 30, 2025. This new service will operate using the airline’s modernized four-class Boeing 777-300ER, featuring Emirates’ award-winning Premium Economy seats and updated Business Class features.

Currently, Emirates operates two daily non-stop flights from Dubai to Melbourne on Airbus A380 aircraft and an additional Emirates Melbourne flight via Singapore using a Boeing 777-300ER. As of March 30, the Singapore-Melbourne connection will cease, making way for the new non-stop service and an additional Dubai-Singapore flight.

Passengers on the new route can expect more travel options, seamless connections, and enhanced schedules. This expansion offers greater connectivity via Dubai to 27 destinations in Europe, including London, Paris, and Frankfurt, all served by multiple daily flights.

Long-Term Commitment to Australia

Emirates has maintained strong ties with Australia for nearly three decades. Beyond flights, the airline has invested over $230 million in local sponsorships, supporting institutions such as the Australian Open, Collingwood Football Club, and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

The UAE and Australia recently strengthened their economic relationship through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), signed on November 6. This agreement facilitates trade and investment between the two nations, further supported by Emirates’ cargo operations, which move more than 2,350 tonnes of goods weekly.

Additionally, Emirates’ partnership with Qantas enhances travel options with access to over 120 destinations. The two airlines have carried over 15 million passengers in the last decade, offering unparalleled connectivity across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

With this latest expansion and continued investment, Emirates reinforces its role as a key player in supporting travel, tourism, and trade between Australia and the UAE, offering services like the Emirates Melbourne flight to enhance these goals.
