Embraer ended 2024 on a high note with a substantial increase in aircraft deliveries. The company reported a total of 206 aircraft delivered throughout the year, marking a 14% rise compared to 2023’s total of 181. During the last quarter of 2024, Embraer delivered 75 aircraft, equaling the volume of deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2023 and representing a 27% increase from the 59 aircraft delivered in the third quarter of 2024. Embraer aircraft deliveries reached new heights this year compared to last.
Strong Performance Across Business Segments
The Commercial Aviation sector contributed significantly to this growth. In the final quarter of the year, 31 new aircraft were delivered, bringing the total for 2024 to 73. This figure is at the top of the company’s revised guidance range of 70-73 aircraft and within its original projection of 72-80 units. Embraer aircraft deliveries in this sector were particularly noteworthy.
Meanwhile, Executive Aviation recorded 44 deliveries in the fourth quarter and a total of 130 for the year. This output places the company in the middle of its initial guidance for the year, demonstrating 13% growth compared to the 115 deliveries recorded in 2023. The sector’s top-performing jets included the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 light jets, along with the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 medium jets.
Embraer’s Defense & Security division also experienced progress. In 2024, three C-390 Millennium aircraft were delivered, surpassing the two units delivered in 2023. This marks an improvement in the company’s defense capabilities — a boost evidenced by the year’s Embraer aircraft deliveries.
The fourth quarter proved pivotal for Embraer, with deliveries divided among its primary segments. Commercial and Executive Aviation accounted for a combined 75 deliveries during this period. This momentum capped off a strong year of Embraer aircraft deliveries and consistent performance.
