Delta has begun accepting applications for its upcoming 2025 flight attendant hiring classes, offering roles for both English-speaking and bilingual candidates. This hiring wave comes as Delta prepares to mark its centennial year while operating its most expansive travel schedule to date.

“2025 will be an exciting year,” said Rachel McCarthy, Delta’s Vice President of IFS ATL Operations, CX, Hiring, and Learning. “Not only will Delta celebrate 100 years as a brand, but we will also fly our most robust travel schedule ever. We’re excited to hire even more flight attendants to meet this demand and bring our premium experience to life for every customer.”

Bilingual Opportunities and Job Requirements

Delta is specifically seeking bilingual applicants fluent in English and one of the following languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, Greek, German, Italian, Korean, or Swedish. Candidates interested in this Language of Destination (LOD) role must indicate their language proficiency and interest during the application process.

To qualify, applicants must meet several requirements, including:

  • Being at least 21 years old at the time of application.
  • Holding a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Being able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrating fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

The position demands flexibility, as Delta operates approximately 5,000 flights daily to over 300 destinations worldwide. Flight attendants must be prepared to work on both international and domestic routes, including during weekends, holidays, and nights.

For those selected, Delta offers comprehensive training at its Atlanta headquarters. This seven-week program includes a training wage, meals, and lodging for participants who live more than 25 miles from the training facility. Upon completing training, new hires join Delta’s team of over 28,000 flight attendants at one of its 14 U.S.-based hubs, including Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York.
