Delta Air Lines has achieved the title of North America’s Most On-Time Airline for 2024, marking a notable accomplishment as it celebrates its Centennial year. The airline also received the prestigious Platinum Award for Operational Excellence from Cirium, a recognition it has now earned for four consecutive years.

The Platinum Award from Cirium is presented to airlines that demonstrate exceptional on-time performance and manage complex operations effectively, all while ensuring minimal disruptions for passengers. This award solidifies Delta’s status as North America’s Most On-Time Airline.

Delta’s performance in 2024 stood out, with 83.46% of its 1,712,529 flights arriving on time. This percentage exceeded both the North American industry average of 76.37% and the global benchmark of 83.04%. The airline also outperformed its closest North American competitor by 2.53%, further establishing itself as North America’s Most On-Time Airline.

Cirium defines an on-time flight as one that arrives within 15 minutes of its scheduled gate arrival. Delta’s reliability and focus on customer service continue to set it apart as North America’s Most On-Time Airline.
