Delta Air Lines is making it easier than ever to stay connected in the air. The airline is expanding its Wi-Fi service, with a goal of bringing fast, free Wi-Fi to its entire global fleet. This initiative is a major step in transforming the in-flight experience.
“Thanks to the dedication and expertise of Delta teams, we’re making enormous strides in our efforts to bring fast, free Wi-Fi to every aircraft in our fleet—which in turn will transform our aircraft into personalized platforms where customers can connect and engage in meaningful new ways,” said Ranjan Goswami, S.V.P. – Customer Experience Design.
Delta’s Wi-Fi rollout is reaching a major milestone. By early April, all passengers flying across Delta’s transatlantic network to Europe, Israel, and West Africa will have access to fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi, provided by T-Mobile.

Delta has already completed the Wi-Fi rollout to its entire domestic mainline fleet. The airline is now working to bring free Wi-Fi to routes serving South America, with completion expected later this spring. Delta emphasizes that this level of connectivity across its network is unmatched.
Wi-Fi on Regional Jets and New Technology
Delta is also expanding its Wi-Fi service to its fleet of regional jets. This spring, Delta equipped the first of its more than 400 regional jets—a CRJ-700—with fast, free Wi-Fi and began service.
To further improve connectivity, Delta will equip its entire Boeing 717 fleet with a solution that enables dual-network connectivity. This technology aims to set a new standard for in-flight connectivity, providing seamless streaming to personal devices and superior performance across Delta’s network.
Delta anticipates that dual-network connectivity retrofits will begin in Q4, with the entire 717 fleet completed by early 2026.

Looking ahead, Delta plans to integrate the dual-network connectivity solution into select new delivery A350-1000 and A321neo aircraft in late 2026. These aircraft will also feature the next-generation Delta Sync seatback experience, which includes intelligent 4K HDR QLED displays, Bluetooth capabilities, and advanced personalization.
Delta’s Wi-Fi expansion is part of a larger effort to transform aircraft into personalized platforms for passengers to stay connected and engaged during their journey.
