Delta and Shake Shack Offer More Mouth-watering Burgers

Delta and Shake Shack Offer More Mouth-watering Burgers

First Class just got a whole lot tastier. Delta Air Lines and Shake Shack are expanding their unique partnership, bringing those craveable burgers to even more passengers. Starting March 4th, four new cities join the in-flight burger party: Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia, and Seattle. This means if you’re flying First Class on Delta routes over 900 miles from these cities, you can indulge in a Shake Shack experience at 35,000 feet.

This exciting expansion comes after a successful launch in Boston at the end of 2024, where the Shake Shack Cheeseburger became an instant hit with Delta passengers. “Customers are raving about the Shake Shack experience onboard our flights after serving more than 10,000 burgers out of Boston since launching in December,” shared Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service. “This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience.”

But it’s not just about burgers. Delta is committed to providing a variety of fresh and satisfying meals for everyone. Whether you’re craving a classic cheeseburger or have specific dietary needs, Delta aims to deliver an elevated dining experience that caters to all preferences.

A Burger Celebration with Uber Eats

To celebrate this partnership expansion and welcome Uber to the SkyMiles program this spring, Delta Air Lines, Shake Shack, and Uber Eats are offering a special treat. SkyMiles Members who joined the Delta x Uber waitlist, or sign up by March 6th, will receive a “buy one ShackBurger and get one free” offer on Uber Eats. This offer is valid until March 14th, so grab your travel buddy and enjoy!

Delta is dedicated to enhancing the onboard experience for all passengers. In honor of the airline’s centennial, Biscoff cookies will be available in a special ‘Biscoff Sandwich’ format in First Class. Main Cabin and Comfort+ passengers can enjoy limited-edition Centennial packaging of the classic Biscoff cookies and Atlanta-based SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale.

For those with specific dietary needs, Delta Air Lines is revamping its Special Meals menus for First Class and Delta One passengers departing from the U.S. These meals are chef-curated and made fresh in-house, with menus refreshed periodically. “Every customer should feel a sense of belonging when traveling with us – regardless of dietary restrictions or preferences,” said Laster. Passengers can request special meals via MyTrips or by contacting Delta at least 24 hours before their flight.

Delta’s commitment to excellence extends to its beverage program as well. The airline’s seasonal wine program features new selections this spring, including a partnership with Champagne Taittinger. Additionally, Delta is expanding the availability of Jon & Vinny’s braised meatballs with Bianco DiNapoli marinara to more routes.

For those seeking non-alcoholic options, Delta Air Lines is introducing a variety of premium beverages and mixers on select routes for a limited time, including Q Hibiscus Ginger Beer and Lyre’s Amalfi Italian Spritz.

By partnering with popular brands like Shake Shack and continuously improving its onboard offerings, Delta Air Lines aims to provide a premium and enjoyable travel experience for all.
