Starting October 1, 2025, Air India will begin operating non-stop flights between Delhi and Manila. This development makes Air India the only airline to offer direct flights between India and the Philippines. Through its Delhi hub, Air India will connect travelers more efficiently, supporting both travel and trade between the two countries.
Air India will operate five flights each week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These services will use the Airbus A321neo, configured in three classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. This configuration gives passengers more options based on their travel preferences.
The Philippines recently introduced visa-free access for Indian nationals, allowing them to stay for up to 14 days without a visa. This move comes as Indian travelers show more interest in the country’s beaches, heritage sites, and nature destinations. Locations such as Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu have become more attractive to Indian tourists as a result.
Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Air India, said, “The introduction of our Delhi-Manila route is a yet another step in our mission to connect India with more of the world, non-stop. As outbound travel from India grows at an unprecedented pace, with Indian tourists ranking among the highest spenders globally, the new entry rules for Indian tourists are a shot in the arm to boost tourism to the Philippines. We are happy to facilitate new opportunities for cultural exchange and economic collaboration between the two nations, while bringing the new Air India to more travellers around the world.”

Stronger ties between India and the Philippines
According to the Embassy of India in Manila, total trade between India and the Philippines grew to USD 3.53 billion in 2023–24. This is almost twice the USD 1.89 billion recorded in 2015–16. The new flight route helps support this growth by offering a faster and more convenient travel option for business and government representatives.
Besides direct service from India, Air India’s schedule also benefits travelers coming from Europe. The flights offer a one-stop option through Delhi, making Manila easier to reach from cities across Europe. This schedule allows Air India to serve both Indian and international travelers heading to the Philippines.
Flight AI2362 will leave Delhi at 1:20 PM and reach Manila at 10:40 PM on all five service days. The return flight, AI2361, will depart from Manila at 11:40 PM and arrive in Delhi at 3:50 AM the next day. These times are designed to allow smooth connections from other cities to and from Delhi.
The Philippines has become more accessible for Indian visitors through this visa-free arrangement. With over 7,000 islands and a mix of historical and natural destinations, the country now expects more travelers from India. This new flight connection from Air India helps make that easier.
Air India’s Delhi-Manila flights bring more choices to travelers while also helping support trade and travel goals. Through this non-stop route, both countries gain a direct link that is expected to improve accessibility and cooperation.
