Air France is set to enhance travel options for film and business travelers by offering exclusive flights connecting Los Angeles and New York to Nice in 2025. The airline will provide direct flights in May for the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix and additional flights in June for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. This opens up convenient and luxurious travel options for those traveling with Air France to the Cannes festivals.
These special routes will allow travelers from the United States to conveniently reach the French Riviera, ensuring a seamless travel experience with Air France’s upgraded cabin features.
Direct Flights from Los Angeles to Nice
Passengers flying between Los Angeles and Nice in May will have the opportunity to experience Air France’s Airbus A350, designed for maximum comfort. The airline has scheduled two flights for this route:

- May 12, 2025: Flight AF041 departs from Los Angeles at 1:15 PM and arrives in Nice at 9:40 AM the next day.
- May 26, 2025: Flight AF040 departs from Nice at 1:55 PM and arrives in Los Angeles at 4:55 PM the same day.
Air France’s Airbus A350 offers a premium experience across all cabin classes. Business Class passengers will benefit from private suites with sliding doors and fully flat beds measuring nearly two meters. Premium Economy seats provide a 121° recline and a spacious 48 cm-wide seat pan. Economy Class seats are designed with ergonomic padding, a 119° recline, and 79 cm of legroom. All cabins feature in-flight Wi-Fi and high-definition touchscreens, making long-haul travel more enjoyable.
In addition to passenger comfort, the Airbus A350 is an environmentally friendly aircraft, producing 25% fewer CO2 emissions than older models and operating with 40% less noise.

Additional Flights for Cannes Lions Festival
Air France is also offering four flights between New York-JFK and Nice for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June. These flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.
- June 14 and 15, 2025: Flight AF043 departs from New York JFK at 4:35 PM and arrives in Nice at 6:30 AM the next day.
- June 19 and 20, 2025: Flight AF042 departs from Nice at 11:55 AM and arrives in New York JFK at 2:40 PM the same day.
As part of its summer expansion, Air France is increasing its U.S. destinations with the addition of direct flights to Orlando, Florida, from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This brings the airline’s total U.S. destinations to 18, while it now serves 25 locations across North America, including major cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington, D.C.

Air France has been a dedicated partner of the Cannes Film Festival for 45 years. The 78th edition, taking place from May 13-24, 2025, continues this tradition.
